The Purpose
Our Visitor Experience Hosts play a pivotal role, taking ownership of the visitor experience from the first point of contact, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome to Trentham Estate, providing accurate and engaging attraction activity information, this role will be both indoors and outdoors.
The Person
We are looking for an outdoor, indoor customer focused and service driven individual, someone who is passionate about building a rapport with customers. As a Visitor Experience Host, you’ll encourage return visits by creating positive and long-lasting impacts.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a similar environment such as a visitor attraction.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Target driven.
Key Accountabilities
- You’ll assist visitors and inform them of what’s new in the Gardens, give directions and information to enhance their visit.
- You will be engaged on the boat and train during peak times.
- Be a point of contact at the Visitor Centre.
- You’ll be visible in the gardens.
- Handle visitor feedback, remedy if necessary or possible, record and feedback to the line manager.
- During peak times to monitor tickets for validity, deal with any misuse and provide general assistance and guidance to visitors. There will also be a requirement to monitor external exits during busier periods.
- Contribute to team targets and work collaboratively with Estates, Gardens and Management Teams.
Fixed term contract until end of December, 16 hours plus, including weekends, holidays and some evenings on a rota basis.
